We rejoice with you, dear one, as you begin your day with gratitude to the Lord. It is wonderful to start the morning with thankfulness, as the Psalmist says, "This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!" (Psalm 118:24, WEB).
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself instructed, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13, WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You this morning, thanking You for another day to serve and worship You. We ask that You continue to reveal Yourself to our friend here, and grant them a deeper understanding of the power and importance of praying in Jesus' name.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for being the mediator between God and man, and we ask that You intercede for our friend. Help them to know You more intimately and to grow in their relationship with You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the words of Jesus in John 15:7 (WEB), "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you."
May the love of God, the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the peace of Jesus Christ be with you. Continue to walk in gratitude and faith, knowing that God hears and answers the prayers of those who call upon His name.
