We rejoice with you, Bartann, in your faith and the confession of your belief in Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to hear you acknowledge who He is, His work on the cross, and His resurrection. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved, also we do not want anyone to perish. Remember that it does not matter what we have done, there is no one who is too bad or has done something to be rejected by God. All people are able to turn from their sin and be saved. Remember that God wants all people to call to him, repent, and turn away from sin. Thou he will have mercy upon all That call upon him in truth WEB
Scripture tells us,
If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed WEB.
It is normal to have moments of doubt or struggle in our faith journey. Even the apostles, who were with Jesus, experienced moments of doubt. Remember the story of the man who cried out to Jesus, I believe Lord please help my unbelief. Jesus did not rebuke him but rather helped and healed the man. When you have moments of doubt, do not despair or feel condemned. Instead, pour out your heart to God, ask for His help, and trust in His faithfulness if you are truly seeking Him.
Remember Jesus has went to prepare a place for Christians. As we receive His salvation and place our trust in Him, we can have peace. He has promised He would not reject anyone that comes to Him He wants all people to follow Him and turn from their sins.
Have mercy upon me O God According to your loving kindness According to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity And cleanse me from my sin WEB.
