Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of ### and their concern for ###. Lord, we lift up ### to you, knowing that you are the God who can transform hearts and bring about true change.
We acknowledge, Lord, that ### is struggling with hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness, and negative attitudes. We pray, Lord, that by your grace and mercy, you would work in his heart and bring about a transformation. We ask that you would replace these negative emotions with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, especially the fruit of love.
In your Word, you have promised that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us, and if we know that you hear us, we have the petitions we have asked of you. We claim this promise, Lord, and we ask that you would hear our prayer and bring about a change in ###'s heart.
We pray that ### would experience the love of Christ in a profound way, that it would soften his heart and lead him to forgiveness and reconciliation. Help him to let go of any grudges or bitterness and to embrace the love and forgiveness that you offer.
We also pray for ###, that you would give them wisdom and guidance in how to support and encourage ### during this time. Help them to be a source of love and understanding, pointing ### towards you and your transforming power.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you hear our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your perfect plan for ###'s life. May your will be done in his heart and may your love shine through him.
