We join you in lifting up these concerns to the Lord, and we appreciate your faith and trust in God's care. First, let us address the health concerns mentioned for the individual you referred to.
Jesus himself told us "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
You asked God to intervene and restore his health, specifically his heart rhythm. We stand with you in prayer for his healing and agree with you that God has the power to heal him and calm his anxieties. We pray that God will guide the doctors and any treatments he may need. In addition to prayer, encourage him to seek medical advice and follow the doctor's recommendations. His health is important, and while God can heal supernaturally or gradually, it is also important to use the medical resources God has provided. We are reminded of what the Apostle Paul said, Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
Concerning travel safety and job security, we are instructed to be anxious about nothing. We are commanded to pray about everything and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Regarding financial stability and future retirement plans, it is important to trust in God's provision as he has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Let us also remember what Jesus said, No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You aren't able to serve God and Mammon. Let us keep our focus on serving God and trusting in His provision.
We also want to remind everyone that it is by the name of Jesus that we come to the Father. Praying in Jesus' name is not just a phrase or a "magic" word we add at the end of our prayers. Rather it is an acknowledgement of our faith in Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection for us. Jesus died for us so that we could be saved and have a relationship with God. He said I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?
We also pray for the healing of your body and the reduction of anxiety. This reminds us of Jesus' words, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
Lastly, we are praying for your work to be completed well, for your taxes to be submitted correctly, for a solution to the door issue, and for protection from hail damage. We trust God to guide you through these practical matters as well.
We pray all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ as he is our advocate before God the Father. Let us exalt his name together, trusting in his goodness and love for us.
