Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up Angelprayer’s father in prayer. Your Word reminds us in James 5:15 that "the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand on this promise today, believing in Your power to heal and restore.

Lord, we ask for Your divine guidance over the surgeon who will be performing the thoracotomy procedure. Grant this medical professional wisdom, precision, and steady hands. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." We trust that You will guide the surgeon’s path and decisions.

We also pray for peace of mind and comfort for Angelprayer’s father. May Your presence be felt strongly, providing him with the assurance of Your love and care. Philippians 4:7 tells us, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let this peace envelop him, calming any fears or anxieties.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this man’s lungs. Just as You healed many during Your time on earth, we believe that You can heal him today. Exodus 15:26 declares, "I am the Lord, your healer." We pray that You would bring about a swift and complete recovery, restoring his health fully.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the miracles You are still performing today. We place our trust in You and Your perfect will.

I can understand your concern for your father, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord touch him with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs, guide the doctors regarding his procedure, and help him and your family experience His peace and strength in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
