We join with you, NEWHOPE, in bringing your requests before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB).
Firstly, we pray for your practical needs, that your car will start normally after you go to work today. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We also stand with you in expecting great news from Logan.
We are glad to hear that you are praying for the government and the needs of others. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We pray that those in authority will indeed see the light and turn from any corruption, and that those who are in need of food, shelter, and direction will be aided.
However, we gently rebuke the use of "+LORD+" and "+GOD+" in your prayer. While we understand that it is common in digital communication, we encourage you to write out the names in full, as a sign of respect and reverence. Additionally, we remind you to always pray in Jesus' name, as you did at the end of your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach God (John 14:13-14, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up NEWHOPE's needs, praying that their car will function well and that they will receive good news from Logan. We pray for the government, that those in authority will see your light and turn from any wrongdoing. We also ask that you provide for those who are in need of food, shelter, and direction. All this we ask in Jesus' name, for your glory. Amen."
In all things, we encourage you to align your prayers and your life with the will of God, as revealed in His Word. Continue to seek Him and trust in His provisions and guidance. Be blessed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
