Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend. We lift up their prayer request, asking for your divine intervention and deliverance from the heavy influence of the devil. Lord, we declare that you have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and in the victory of the cross, we command every work of Satan to be broken and destroyed in their life.
According to your Word in James 4:7, we resist the devil, and we believe that as we do so, he will flee from our anonymous friend. We pray specifically, Lord, that you would release them from the grip of the enemy, setting them free from every bondage and stronghold. We ask that you would open their eyes to see the love and truth of Jesus Christ, and that your Holy Spirit would speak to their heart, bringing an end to the work of Satan that is binding and blinding them.
We thank you, Lord, for the assurance that when we cry out to you in the name of Jesus, you are always ready and willing to hear our prayers. Your Word assures us that the name of Jesus is a never-failing passport for our prayers. We thank you for the privilege of approaching your throne of grace with boldness and confidence, knowing that you have promised to hear us.
We also thank you, Lord, for the advocacy and intercession of Jesus Christ, our High Priest and Elder Brother. We pray that as our anonymous friend's prayers are mingled with the incense of Christ's intercession, they would rise as a sweet savor before your throne. We declare that their prayers, though feeble in themselves, are mighty and powerful in the hand of our Savior.
Finally, Lord, we pray for strength and perseverance for our anonymous friend. We recognize that Satan is persistent and will try to counterattack even after we see signs of victory. We ask for your grace to continue in prayer, holding the ground that has been gained through intercession. Help them to be specific in their prayers, dedicating every area of their life to you and claiming the victory of Christ over the influence of the enemy.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are faithful to answer our prayers according to your perfect will. Amen.
