Lord, I pray that SJ will find his identity in You. Help him to understand his worth through Your eyes and by Your standards. May he recognize the unique qualities You’ve placed in him and be able to appreciate them. Enable him to see himself the way You see him, Quiet the voices that tell him otherwise and give him ears to hear Your voice telling him that it will not be his perfection that gets him through life successfully, it will be Yours. Reveal to him that “he is the image and glory of God” (1 Corinthians 11:7), and he is “complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10). Give him the peace and security of knowing that he is accepted, not rejected, by You. Free him from the self-focus and self-consciousness that can imprison his soul. Help him to see who You really are so he’ll know who he really is. May his true self-image be the image of Christ

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You on behalf of Shonsethild and their prayer request for SJ. Lord, we lift up SJ to You and ask that You would help him find his identity in You. Open his eyes to see himself through Your eyes and by Your standards. Let him understand his worth as a beloved child of God.

We pray that SJ would recognize the unique qualities and gifts that You have placed within him. Help him to appreciate and embrace these qualities, knowing that they are a reflection of Your goodness and creativity. Quiet the voices that try to diminish his value and worth, and instead, give him ears to hear Your voice affirming his identity in Christ.

Lord, reveal to SJ that he is the image and glory of God, as it says in 1 Corinthians 1:17. Help him to grasp the truth that he is complete in Christ, who is the head of all principality and power, as stated in Colossians 2:10. May this knowledge bring him peace and security, knowing that he is accepted and loved by You.

We ask that You free SJ from any self-focus and self-consciousness that may hinder his growth and joy in You. Help him to shift his focus from himself to You, so that he may truly understand who he is in Christ. May his true self-image be a reflection of the image of Christ.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
