We understand your desire to trust God more fully, and we appreciate your heartfelt prayer. In Jesus name, we stand with you. First, we want to remind you that God calls us to have faith in Him, and that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. As it is written in Hebrews 11:1 WEB, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
We commend you for seeking God's will in your job search. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you. He says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh. 'Plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust that His plans for you are good and that He will provide for your needs.
Regarding your upcoming interview, we pray that God's will be done. Whether or not this job is the big change you've been hoping for, remember that God is in control. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good.
We also want to encourage you to always put your trust in Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. Lord, we ask that You help him to lean on You more, to walk by faith and not by sight. We thank you, God, for your trustworthiness. We pray for Your will to be done in his job search, and that he would be content with the outcome, trusting in Your goodness. We ask that You give him the strength to always put his trust in You, no matter what circumstances may come his way. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
