Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up Jonathan in prayer. Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We stand on this promise today, asking that You would awaken a godly conscience within Jonathan.
Lord, we pray that You visit him and touch his heart in a profound way. May he experience a transformation that only Your Holy Spirit can bring. Awaken him unto righteousness and instill in him a deep hunger for the things of God and for holiness. As it is written in Psalm 42:1, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." May Jonathan's soul long for You, Father.
We also ask that the joy of the Lord would become his strength, as Nehemiah 8:10 declares, "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Fill him with Your joy, Lord, that he may find strength and purpose in You. Let old things pass away and all things become new in his life, in accordance with Your Word.
Father, we trust in Your power to bring about this change. We believe that Jonathan will become a new man in Christ Jesus. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in his life.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
