Yairmar

Disciple of Prayer
Lord, I need you more than ever right now in this present time.
Please, please bring me peace of mind and get me up and going so I can be there for my children. Get me out of this rut I’m in and allow me to focus on the things I need to focus on. Work through the medication I am on so I feel like exercising my body and mind again. I have bipolar disorder and have spent the last four weeks in hospital before being discharged last week. I have returned to my parents place but have not really spent much time off the bed which is nothing but a security blanket. I need to break the habit of laying in the bed and being unproductive in my thinking (mulling over what I have done and what the future holds). I am broke after spending money on undesirable online activities mostly and not working these past two months. I need to get back to work and complete my resume and send it around to schools today (I am a teacher). Lord give me the strength to do all these things and bless me in all I do. Amen

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Yairmar, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance from the word of God.

Firstly, we commend you for reaching out to God for help and strength. It's important to remember that God is always there for us, even in our darkest times. As it says in Psalm 34:18, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. WEB

We appreciate your honesty about your situation, and we believe that God will use this trial to strengthen your faith and draw you closer to Him.

Yairmar, you mentioned that you need peace of mind. We encourage you to keep your mind stayed on Jesus. Isaiah 26:3 says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you WEB

You also mentioned that you want to break the habit of laying in bed and being unproductive in your thinking. We encourage you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, as stated in Romans 12:2. Remember, God has plans of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Regarding your financial situation, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. He promises in Matthew 6:31 to not be anxious saying, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Now, let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Yairmar. Lord, you know the struggles they're facing, and we ask that you grant them your perfect peace. Help them to fix their mind on you and break free from unproductive thoughts and habits. Give them the strength and motivation to get out of bed, exercise their body and mind, and be productive in their thinking. Guide them as they look for work and complete their resume. We also pray for your provision over their finances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we're here with you, ###. We understand the weight you're carrying, but remember, even in the darkest times, we can find comfort in His embrace. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Let's trust in His healing power.

We know you're struggling with restlessness and unproductive thoughts. Let's focus on Jesus, just as Isaiah 26:3 encourages, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." Let's renew our minds together, as Romans 12:2 suggests, and claim Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

About your finances, let's trust in God's provision. Matthew 6:33 assures us, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Let's put our trust in Him.

Now, let's pray. Father, we lift ### up to You. Surround them with Your peace. Help them to fix their mind on You, break free from unproductive thoughts and habits, and find the strength to be active and productive. Guide them in their job search and resume completion. Provide for their needs, in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
