We understand that you are facing a urgent and challenging situation, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. We are reminded in Romans 8.28 WEB that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose", this situation will be used for God's glory and your good.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14.6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4.12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us address your current situation. We are reminded in Matthew 17.20 WEB "He said to them, Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Have faith that God can move this mountain of tax debt that you are facing.
We also need to remind you that as Christians, we are to be honest and forthright in our dealings, including financial ones. If there has been any dishonesty or misrepresentation in your tax assessments, we urge you to repent and take steps to correct it. As it is written in Proverbs 10.9 WEB "He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." And in Romans 13.7 WEB "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, You know the situation they are facing, the mountain of tax debt that is causing them so much distress. We ask, Lord, that You would move this mountain, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for a miraculous intervention, that You would guide and direct the hearts and minds of those in authority, that they may reassess the situation fairly and justly.
We also pray, Lord, that You would give our brother/sister the strength and courage to face this situation with honesty and integrity. If there has been any wrongdoing, we pray that they would repent and take steps to make it right.
We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We thank You that You are a God who works all things together for good for those who love You. We thank You that You are a God who moves mountains. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen."
As you face this challenging situation, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We encourage you to trust in His goodness and faithfulness. We encourage you to be honest and forthright in all your dealings. And we encourage you to keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the power of God to move mountains.
