Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up notforsaken in this time of profound grief and sorrow. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You surround notforsaken with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." May Your comforting presence be felt deeply by notforsaken.
Lord, grief can be so overwhelming, and we know that notforsaken is struggling with the weight of loss and the questions that have arisen since the passing of a beloved mother. We ask for Your healing touch upon notforsaken's heart. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Be near to notforsaken, O Lord, and bring healing to this broken heart.
Father, in moments of loneliness and despair, remind notforsaken of Your unending love and presence. You have promised in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." May notforsaken feel Your presence and know that You are always there, providing comfort and strength.
We also ask for Your guidance and provision for notforsaken during this difficult time. Psalm 23:1 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing." Lead notforsaken beside still waters and restore the soul, providing for every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to heal and restore. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
