Lord I like to know who am I what am I doing here what is my purpose in life am I a failure in life..I am allways searching about myself am I helping people am I doing enough in life I am 71 years old Lord I have allways been searching Lord. I pray for people online prayer sites and do chemo angel writing letters to chemo people. We understand your deep longing to know your purpose and identity in life. It's beautiful to see your heart for prayer and supporting others, even as you seek answers for yourself. Let's turn to God's Word for guidance.

In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose for you, and it's never too late to discover and walk in it.

First, let's affirm that your identity is in Jesus Christ. When you accepted Him as your Savior, you became a child of God. As it is written in Romans 8:16 (WEB), "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God."

Your purpose is intertwined with your identity in Christ. In Ephesians 2:10 (WEB), we learn, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." You've been created for good works, and your prayers for others and encouragement through letters are a part of that.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who seeks to know her purpose and identity. Lord, reveal to her the good works You've prepared for her. Strengthen her in her prayer ministry and encouraging words to others. Heal her husband, her family, and herself according to Your will. Help her to see herself as You see her—a beloved child of God with a purpose and a future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue seeking God through prayer and His Word. Trust that He will reveal more of your purpose to you as you follow Him daily. Remember, it's by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there's no other name by which we can be saved. Keep praying in Jesus' name and trusting in His love for you.

Be encouraged by these words from Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is working all things together for your good as you love Him and walk in His purpose.
