My dear brother or sister, the Lord has every one of your hairs numbered and knows every sparrow that falls. There is nothing that happens that is outside His will. When I feel afraid like this, I remember what one of the US Civil War Generals said: That the Lord had already decided when he would leave this earth, and until that time came, he was as safe going to battle as he was getting into his own bed. . Reading Psalm 91 always helps for this kind of fear.

Father, I ask that You surround this child of yours with the Holy Spirit. Help them to realize that there is no where they will go, or anything they will do that is outside of your protection. Take away the fear of this child and give them confidence in Your ability to protect them, because You, My Father, are always there. In Jesus name. Amen.

Psalm 91

1Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.a

2I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

my God, in whom I trust.â€

3Surely he will save you

from the fowler’s snare
