Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Patriotic_angel and their prayer request regarding Gene. Lord, we acknowledge that letting go of someone can be difficult, especially when there are past connections and memories involved. We ask for your guidance and strength to help Patriotic_angel release any attachment to Gene and to let go completely.

In your Word, you remind us in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Lord, we pray that you grant Patriotic_angel the ability to forget the past and focus on the future that you have planned for them.

We ask for your healing touch upon Patriotic_angel's heart and mind. Fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. Help them to surrender their thoughts and emotions to you, knowing that you are in control and have a perfect plan for their life.

Lord, we trust in your unfailing love and mercy. We believe that you can bring comfort and healing to Patriotic_angel's heart. Help them to find solace in your presence and to rely on your strength to move forward.

We pray that you grant Patriotic_angel the grace to fully let go of Gene and to release any burdens or attachments they may have. May they find freedom and peace in surrendering this situation to you.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust that you will answer according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
