Lord, I feel heart-broken. I hardly have hope left for a change of my situation. I feel emotionally so low and desperate and I feel lonely in my situation. I have lost joy for living. I ask you to help me through all that.

It's a man right? A cold hearted man, right? A nasty piece of work that shouldn't even be called a human being, right?

I'm going to tell you what I have found through experience.

You need to guard your heart and put your trust in no man.

Anyone that wants to be in your life needs to earn your trust and respect which means they have to prove that they are trustworthy and be trusted with your heart. If they only spout of nice words but are not willing to do what it takes then get rid of them. It simply is not worth it.

It seems in this day and age, people are getting more and more selfish. Even people who call themselves Christians can't always be trusted, unfortunately. I had a so called friend named Christian that turned out to be a dud. Imagine that. Someone actually named Christian that has done evil to a Christian.

If a man is worthy and worth your time then he will prove himself to you. Plain and simple. Have enough self-respect, not esteem, to expect something back and if you come up with a zero then pitch it into the recycle bin.
