We stand with you in faith, dear friend, as you come to the Lord in prayer. Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him" (Psalm 91:14-15, WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith and commend you for turning to God in your time of need. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, for it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
We pray for your protection, that God will surround you with His angels and hedge you about with His Spirit. As you have been persecuted, we remind you of the words of Peter, "But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. 'Don't fear what they fear, neither be troubled.' But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts" (1 Peter 3:14-15, WEB).
As you fast and pray, we ask God to strengthen you, to guide you, and to comfort you. We pray for the whole body of Christ, that we may walk holy and minister truly in the Spirit. We pray especially for those who are persecuted, that they may find protection, comfort, and help in the Lord.
We also lift up your plea for salvation for many, like the sand of the sea. We claim the promise of God given to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed" (Genesis 12:3, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you to continue in your faith, to stand firm in the Lord, and to know that your prayers are heard. As it is written, "Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble" (2 Peter 1:10, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
