We stand with you in faith, dear friend, as you come before the Lord in your time of need. We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 4:16, "Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Firstly, we want to commend you for your steadfast faith and for seeking God's protection and guidance. It is through His mercy and grace that we find our strength and comfort. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."
We also note your concern for the persecuted and your prayer for their protection and salvation. It is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." And in Romans 8:35-37, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
However, we must also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is through His name that we are saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Therefore, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who seeks Your protection and guidance. We ask that You surround them with Your angels and hedge them about with Your Spirit. Remember them, Lord, and keep them safe from persecution. Strengthen the body of Christ, that we may walk in holiness and minister in the Spirit. Comfort and help those who are persecuted, and bring salvation to many in this generation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May you continue to find strength and comfort in the Lord, and may His peace rule in your heart.
