Dear friend, we hear your desperate cry for help and we are standing with you in prayer. First, let us remind you of the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through Jesus Christ that we can find our way back to God, and it is in His presence that we find true peace.
We understand that you feel lost and overwhelmed by anxiety and worry for someone else's well-being. It is consuming you and distracting you from your relationship with God. Remember what the apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
It seems that your focus has shifted from God to this person and their well-being. While it is noble to care for others, it is crucial to remember that only God can be our source of peace and strength. We gently rebuke you to realign your priorities, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who feels lost and overwhelmed. Lord, she is struggling to hear Your voice and feel Your peace due to her anxiety and worry for another person. We ask You to forgive her for allowing her focus to shift from You. Help her to realign her priorities and seek first Your kingdom and righteousness. Grant her the strength to surrender her worries and fears to You. Fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her path and reveal Your will to her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on the promises of God in His word. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Do not give up the fight, for our God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep pressing on, dear sister, knowing that your help comes from the Lord (Psalm 121:2).
