Lealand, we are here to support you in prayer and to guide you according to the principles of God's Word. Your desire to be free from self-righteousness and to have true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is a noble and godly pursuit. The Bible tells us in Philippians 3:9 WEB, "and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith."
It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved and made righteous. As it is written in Romans 10:9-10 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Your desire for the Holy Spirit to live in you is also biblical. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit to those who believe in Him. In John 14:16-17 WEB, Jesus said, "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever: the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him and doesn't know him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you."
Regarding your physical condition, we believe in the power of prayer for healing. In James 5:14-15 WEB, it is written, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lealand to you. Lord, we ask that you grant Lealand true faith, a faith that is not just mental assent but a deep, heartfelt trust in you. Help Lealand to be free from self-righteousness and to embrace the righteousness that comes from you alone. We ask for your Holy Spirit to fill Lealand, to guide, comfort, and transform him according to your will.
Lord, we also pray for Lealand's physical health. We ask for your healing touch on his enlarged heart condition. We believe in your power to heal and restore. Lord, we also ask that you take away any fear that Lealand may have, and fill him with your perfect love, for your perfect love casts out fear.
All these things we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lealand, continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. He promises in Jeremiah 29:13 WEB, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and He will surely help you and transform you according to His will.
