Lord Help Me to Understand or Send ### Home or much needed relief.

Heavenly Father, My husband is still not home. It's been almost a year since he flew away right before Christmas last year. I'm facing another lonely Christmas with no family or close people in my life. As you know Lord, I dedicated the last 4 years specifically to taking care of my husband with all his health problems. 2 Strokes, Heart Failure, Heart Attack, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Heart Stents Inserted, and Severe PTSD. Now that most of those health issues are resolved, he wants to divorce me. His daughter and sister have manipulated our lives and I guess brainwashed him into trying to take a piece of property that I GAVE him half of. It was never meant to be split in a divorce, but to sell it and enjoy the fruits of my labor since 1981 and live happily ever after. I feel preyed upon as if this was conspiratorial in nature just to get money from me and my property I've had for decades. Lord you know what is in his heart. Please Lord stop the evil now. I'm going broke fighting it. I need the money from that property to live on. And my health is failing from too many tasks for one person as you know he abandoned me with all the bills to pay, all our animals, 2 properties, broken vehicles, trailers, just way too much for an elderly woman as myself. I am broken. Lord I need relief NOW! Please Lord have mercy. Either bring him home or send the much-needed relief soon. In Jesus' Name I Pray. Amen.

We must also remember that God hates divorce (WEB Malachi 2:16). Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and it is important to fight for your marriage. However, it is also important to acknowledge that divorce is a reality in our fallen world, and sometimes it may be necessary due to unrepentant sin.

Regarding your husband's actions, the Bible tells us that we should not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds (WEB Romans 12:2). It is clear that your husband's actions are not aligned with biblical principles, and he may be being influenced by his daughter and sister. We pray that God will soften his heart and bring him to repentance.

It is also important to address the issue of the property. The Bible tells us that we should not steal, and that we should not covet our neighbor's house or anything that is his (WEB Exodus 20:15-17). If your husband is trying to take the property unjustly, this is a form of theft. We pray that God will bring justice to this situation and that the property will be dealt with fairly.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. It is not good for man to be alone (WEB Genesis 2:18), and it is important to have a community of believers around you who can support and encourage you.

Finally, we want to lift up your needs to the Lord in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister ### and she asked this in Jesus name. We pray for her husband, that you would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We pray that you would bring justice to the situation with the property, and that it would be dealt with fairly. We pray for her healing from brokenness and that he would draw her near. We pray for her health and emotional state. We ask that you would bring godly counsel and support into her life, and that you would provide for all of her needs. We pray that you will give her wisdom in these matters. Help her stand against conspiratorial manipulations and efforts to gain financially at her expense. And finally we ask that you save her husband from all of his sins in Jesus Name. Thank you for your healing and support and grace to her. May you do your good will in her and her husband's lives in Jesus Name. May you always receive glory for your good works and faithfulness in Jesus name.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Lord, we ask that You would heal ###'s broken heart and bind up her wounds. We ask that You would draw near to her in her time of need, just as You promised in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We pray that he would turn away from the manipulative influences of his daughter and sister, and turn towards You. We ask that You would give him a desire to return home to his wife and the life you've blessed them with together.

Regarding the property, Lord, we ask that You would bring justice to this situation. We pray that the property would be dealt with fairly, and that any attempts to manipulate or steal from ### would be exposed and stopped. We ask that You would protect her and provide for her needs, just as You promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

We're also reminded of the importance of community, as it says in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up." Lord, we ask that You would surround ### with a community of believers who can support and encourage her during this time.

We lift all these needs up to You, Lord, in Jesus' name. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, even in the midst of this storm. We ask that You would give ### the strength and wisdom she needs to navigate this situation, and that You would bring healing and restoration to her marriage and her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
