Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking your help and guidance in loosening the grip of pain from a broken engagement. Lord, we acknowledge that attachments can sometimes hold us captive and hinder our emotional freedom. We ask that you intervene in ###'s life and disconnect them from the pain that this broken engagement has caused.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." We pray that you would grant ### the rest and peace that can only come from you.
Lord, we ask that you heal the wounds of the past and release ### from the pain that lingers. Help them to let go of any bitterness, resentment, or regret associated with this broken engagement. Fill their heart with your love, grace, and forgiveness, enabling them to move forward with hope and joy.
We also pray for your divine wisdom and guidance as ### navigates through this season of healing. Show them the path to emotional freedom and grant them the strength to let go of what no longer serves them. Help them to focus on the future and the plans you have for their life.
In James 5:16, it says, "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." We pray that ### would find comfort and support in the community of believers, who can offer encouragement, understanding, and prayer.
Lord, we trust in your faithfulness and your ability to bring beauty from ashes. We believe that you can turn this painful experience into a testimony of your grace and redemption. May ###'s heart be filled with your peace and may they experience the freedom that comes from surrendering their pain to you.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
