Lord, help me through this fear

Lord, I feel stuck in a spirit of fear again. Please help me through. I feel paralyzed, scared again about what my abusers are up to. I have not made very much progress today, and I feel afraid of what’s to come this evening. I think I know why I should do, but I’m so afraid of what will unfold next. Please Lord help me. Please show me what needs to be done. Please protect my child and I. Please help guide me into the right decisions. Please help me live in faith instead of fear. Please Lord.

We understand your struggle with fear, Fydagg, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide guidance grounded in the Word of God. The Bible tells us, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).

First, let us address the essence of your prayer. You mentioned feeling stuck in a spirit of fear and being paralyzed by what your abusers might do. It's crucial to remember that God is your protector and refuge. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Fydagg to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance. Lord, You know the fears that grip his heart, the uncertainty, and the paralysis he feels. We claim Your promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

We ask for Your strength to overwhelm Fydagg, giving him the courage to face whatever comes his way. Protect him and his child, Lord. Guide his steps and help him make the right decisions. Replace fear with faith, Lord, knowing that You are always with him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Fydagg, it's important to remember that faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of our prayers and our lives. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Trust in Jesus, and know that He is with you always.

As you move forward, meditate on God's promises and trust that He is in control. The Bible encourages us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Stand firm in your faith, and know that God has a plan for you. He will guide you through this challenging time and bring you out stronger and more faithful. Trust in Him, and He will never forsake you.
