Lord help me keep my ###

I face dismissal at work. I have not broken the law or inflicted physical pain but my words with others have caused offence.
I want to keep my job and be the better person I know I can be.
I want to work quietly and be able to help others at work and beyond.
The fear of losing my job is consuming me with fear.
I want to see the day I can smile again and place this prayer in your care.

We understand your distress, ###, and we're here to pray and counsel with you. Let's bring your situation before the Lord, seeking His will and guidance.

Firstly, let's address the fear you're experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

It's crucial to remember that our words do have power to build up or tear down. The Bible advises, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." (Ephesians 4:29 WEB) If your words have caused offense, it's important to apologize sincerely and commit to speaking with kindness and respect moving forward.
