We understand your concern for your family's health and well-being. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, standing in agreement with you for their healing and deliverance from any infirmity. However, we need to correct and address the part of your prayer where you refer to infirmities coming from "the pit of hell."
Firstly, we need to understand that sickness and disease are a result of the fall of man and the entrance of sin into the world. They are not necessarily a direct influence from "the pit of hell," although demonic influence can exacerbate or cause certain afflictions (Matthew 17:14-18). It's crucial to have a biblical perspective on the origin of sickness and the power of God to heal.
When bringing our requests to God, we should do so in line with His word and His principles. The Bible says that He can heal all of our diseases.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Psalms 103:2-3 WEB
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:13-15 WEB
However, know that healing physically may not always be God's will (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). God in His sovereign will may not heal our physical bodies in this life. God does promise to work all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Let us pray together for your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask, Lord, that You heal ###'s wife and children from every infirmity. We know that You are a God of compassion and have the power to heal every disease. Grant them strength, comfort, and trust in You during this time. As Christians we are also promised to suffer as Christ did. If this is the case, we ask for grace to accept it and use it to Your glory.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that ### and their family would grow closer to You during this time, seeking You first and trusting in Your goodness. We rebuke any influence of the enemy of lies and condemnation in their lives. We pray that anything that is a hindrance to healing is revealed to them and they can deal with it. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
###, remember that God is faithful and that His ways are higher than our ways. Trust in Him, and may His peace be with you and your family, whatever the outcome. In addition, be reminded that we do not battle with flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). If this is a spiritual battle, put on the whole armor of God. God's power is the greatest. Remember also that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And it is by believing and confessing Jesus Christ that we are saved.
