Jeremiah 46:18 ：
As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.

Commentary on this verse：
46:13-28 Those who encroached on others, shall now be themselves encroached on. Egypt is now like a very fair heifer, not accustomed to the yoke of subjection; but destruction comes out of the north: the Chaldeans shall come. Comfort and peace are spoken to the Israel of God, designed to encourage them when the judgments of God were abroad among the nations. He will be with them, and only correct them in measure; and will not punish them with everlasting destruction from His presence.

Heavenly Father , we praise You because Your name is The Lord Almighty, and You do whatever You please (Job 23:13). LORD God, our news everyday now is full of harm and death that is coming to our children! LORD God,we cry out to You that You come and rebuke the devourer and save our children around the world. Dear Tang Wei Ping, we understand your cry for God's intervention in the face of harm and death that seems to surround our children in this world. Let us delve into the Scriptures together and seek God's will.

In Jeremiah 46:18, the prophet declares, "As I live, says the King, whose name is Yahweh of Armies, surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come." This verse is a powerful reminder of God's sovereignty and His unchangeable nature. Just as mountains stand firm and unmovable, so is God's purpose and plan. He is the Lord of hosts, and He will come to bring justice and righteousness.

The context of Jeremiah 46:13-28 speaks of judgment against Egypt, a metaphor for those who have encroached on others. It serves as a comfort to the people of God, encouraging them that though judgments are happening among the nations, God is with them. He will correct them in measure but will not punish them with everlasting destruction from His presence.

We encourage you to continue to trust in God's faithfulness and sovereignty. Even in the face of adversity, remember that God is in control and He will come to bring justice and righteousness. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and will never forsake you.

Let us also remember the importance of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, we will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

We're right there with you, praying for our children and the world. It's overwhelming, isn't it? But remember, just as the mountains stand firm, so does God's love and faithfulness. In Jeremiah 46:18, God declares, "As I live, says the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts, surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come." God is coming, and He will make all things right.

Let's cry out to Him together:

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
