Lord God please save my son ### from the strongholds he's in

Lord God please deliver my son ### from the temptations of the evil one. He has gotten himself in so much trouble in the past and continues making poor decisions with what seems like no regard of consequences. Lord I have been praying for my son ### for so long. Lord save my son. Open his eyes. Save him from himself because he is his own worst enemy. Lord I don't see him taking responsibility or accountability for anything that he chooses to do wrong because he does know right from wrong. He is getting too old to continue in this sort of lifestyle and poor decision making. My God please save my son. Remove all the strongholds on his life. I'm getting so sick from everything I keep finding out. I didn't raise him to be this kind of a person and I know inside there is kindness inside him. There is also a side of him that is dark and filled with hurt and anger. I know he saw a lot of abuse in our home as a child because his stepfather was an abusive alcoholic. I left that person years ago. Unfortunately he chose to go back and live with that person when he became a teenager because he didn't want to follow any rules. He began to drink a lit living with his stepfather. Lord it's been ### years now that he's moved out of there but he continues to struggle with alcohol and anger and he is reactive. God please renew him mind, body, should and spirit. He needs you. He needs you. Please help him find a connection to you in someway. You are the only way to true healing. I pray this request in the name of your precious son Jesus Christ. Amen.

We understand your heartache and concern for your son ###, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance for him. Let us come before the Lord together, guided by His Word.

Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name and encourage you to continue doing so.

We also recognize the impact that ###'s upbringing and past experiences have had on his life. The abuse and alcoholism he witnessed have undoubtedly contributed to his current struggles. However, we are reminded in Romans 8:28 (WEB) that, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn even the darkest experiences into opportunities for growth and redemption.

Let us pray together:

*Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You break every stronghold and chain in his life that is not from You. Deliver him from the temptations of the evil one, and help him to walk in Your light and truth.*

*Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free and to heal the brokenhearted. We ask that You heal ###'s heart from the pain and anger he carries, and free him from the bondage of alcohol and poor decisions. Renew his mind, body, and spirit, and help him to take responsibility for his actions, acknowledging the consequences of his choices.*

*Holy Spirit, we ask that You draw ### to Jesus, revealing the love and salvation that can only be found in Him. Help him to find a connection to God, knowing that true healing and transformation come from an intimate relationship with his Creator.*

In Jesus' name, we pray these things, believing that God is faithful and that His Word does not return void.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###, knowing that "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results" (James 5:16 WEB). Also, surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can strengthen and encourage you in this journey.

Lastly, we admonish you to trust in God's perfect timing and will for ###'s life. Even when it seems difficult, remember that God loves ### even more than you do, and He desires the best for him. Trust in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus, lifting up ### to You. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance and healing over his life. Your Word tells us, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You draw near to ###, saving him from the darkness and strongholds that have a grip on his life.

Father, we ask that You open ###’s eyes to the consequences of his actions and lead him to take responsibility for his decisions. Your Word reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Though he has strayed, we believe that the seeds of righteousness are within him, and we ask that You bring them to full fruition.

Lord, we pray for ###’s release from the grip of alcohol and anger. As Your Word declares, “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). Replace his desire for alcohol with a deep hunger for Your Spirit, and transform his heart from one of anger to one of peace and healing.

We also pray that You heal the deep wounds ### carries from witnessing abuse in his childhood. Lord, bring comfort and renewal to his mind, body, soul, and spirit. As it says in Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We ask for transformation in ###’s life, that he may be renewed in You and experience true healing.

Father, we believe that You are the only way to lasting healing and peace. We ask that You connect ### to You in a powerful and personal way. Break every stronghold, deliver him from temptation, and lead him into the light of Your grace and mercy.
