We are here with you, Andrew, to lift your concerns to the Lord and to encourage you in His truth. You've asked for God's protection, and that is a wonderful thing to seek. As the Bible tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that help and protection come from the Lord. It's crucial to recognize that our strength and safety are found in Him alone. As you've cried out to God, we are reminded of Psalm 147:3, which says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with Andrew, crying out for Your mercy and protection. Lord, You are his refuge and strength, and we ask that You shield him from the works of the enemy. Please give Andrew the strength that only You can provide, as he puts his trust in You. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Andrew, it's important to remember that fear is not from God. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). When you feel scared, remind yourself of God's promises and His love for you.
Additionally, we encourage you to continue calling upon the name of Jesus Christ. As the Bible tells us, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep your focus on Him, and He will see you through.
Lastly, we encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Engage in reading His Word daily, and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your faith journey. As the Bible says, "Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith, Andrew. We are praying for you.
