We understand your struggle and we are here to lift you up in prayer and remind you of God's promises. It's important to remember that worry and fear do not come from God. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Firstly, we commend you for coming to the Lord Jesus in your prayers. It is only through His name that we can approach God, as He Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
Let us address the worries and suicidal thoughts you're experiencing. God cares deeply about your struggles and wants to carry your burdens for you. As Peter writes, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
We rebuke the spirit of worry and suicide that is tormenting you. These thoughts are not from God. Instead, God promises peace and hope. It is written, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with worries and suicidal thoughts. Lord, forgive their unbelief and anxiety. We ask You to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, according to Philippians 4:7. Remind them of Your unfailing love and promise of a hope and a future. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God and fixing your eyes on Jesus. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8 WEB). Keep praying and trusting, for God is faithful and true to His promises. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
