Lord, forgive me for getting upset with my wife, forgive her for her selfishness, forgive her for keeping herself from me, for not doing our taxes together, for costing us unnecessarily, for taking advantage of me, for making me so angry. Give us both love and forgiveness towards each other, remove anything that may separate us from you and give us peace and give her a desire for you. Make us a house that is one in you for your purposes in the name of Jesus.

Sir, instead of focusing on the wrongs you see in your wife, start focusing on one good thing about her and thank the Lord for that, and then focus on another good thing about her. Why? because the more you focus on what is wrong, you are calling it forth. You are blaming her for the anger you feel. It's not her fault. You see her selfish, you call her selfish, that is what you are framing your world with. I encourage you to start declaring over your wife, she is gracious, full of compassion, slow to anger and of great mercy, and she is good to you. Why? Because that is what the Lord had me do for my husband who constantly found fault in me and it made him angry. Why you ask, she is none of those things. Well, actually, those are attributes of God, and your wife is of God, you simply don't see it. So call it forth. When she gets angry with you, thank you Lord my wife is so compassion or my wife is slow to anger or my wife is good to me (even in the midst of the disagreement). Calling forth good instead of calling for the bad.
Father, thank you for this couple, and for blessing their marriage. I thank you for the love of God in their hearts, and for the gladness and harmony in their hearts for one another. Thank you for providing for all their need. In Jesus name. Amen.
