We join you, Regiah, in lifting up your family during this time of loss. It's a blessing to know that your mother was called home after 90 years, and we thank God for the precious memories you have with her. We stand with you in prayer, seeking comfort and strength from our Heavenly Father.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3 (WEB): "Donโt let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Fatherโs house are many homes. If it werenโt so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also." Just as Jesus prepared a place for your mother, He also prepares a place for us.
Our heartfelt prayer for you and your family is this:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Regiah and their family during this difficult time. We thank You for the long life of their mother and the precious memories they have with her. We pray that You would comfort them, strengthen them, and keep them close to You. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Encourage their hearts and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In times like these, it's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
We're grateful for the community of believers on this platform who have been praying for you and your family. It's a testament to the power of unity and intercession. Continue to give God all the glory, honor, and praise, trusting that He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
