Veronida, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and the desires of your heart. We appreciate your faith and trust in God's promises. Let us first remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
God and His word does not owe any person anything, neither should we demand it. This type of thinking should be addressed and avoided. By believing, you will receive what you ask, but we must be aligned in the belief of Jesus' name and to the glory of God. The apostle John reminds us, "And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us." 1 John 5:14 WEB.
Remember that through all things, including financial issues, God's blessing provides contentedness, not necessarily abundance. We are encouraged in Philippians 4:11-13 11 "Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." WEB. While we don't condone laziness or taking advantage of others, as evidenced in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither let Him eat." WEB, We also acknoledge that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil, not the money itself, and don't desire wealth at all costs. 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." WEB.
In God's word it says in Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in YAHWEH, And he will give you the desires of your heart." First, we should be sure that our desires are consistent with those God would choose for us, then we can definitely have confidence approaching His throne, and in His timing, these desires will be granted. Still, we should keep in mind the actions of Jesus as he cried out, and His response to His father in the Garden of Gethsemane: "He went a little further, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me; nevertheless, not what I desire, but what you desire." Matthew 26:39 WEB. It seemed at the time, Jesus desired not to have to be sacrificed, but that He would still be obedient to the will of God, and by these actions, provided us with one of our greatest examples.
We pray this prayer according to Psalm 37:4 WEB.
Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Veronida and the desires of her heart. We pray that Your will be done in her life, and that You align her desires with Yours. We ask for Your guidance, wisdom, and provision in every area of her life, including her finances. We pray in Jesus name, that she believes in You and Your kingdom and is forgiven of her sins and that she obeys God's plan for believers. John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Joh 14:13 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We pray this according to Everlasting Great I AM, whom you sent, Amen.
