We join you in prayer, trusting in God's power and timing for your life. We commend your faith in God's ability to do the impossible, as He did for Sarah in the Bible, who conceived a child in her old age. As it is written in Genesis 18:14 WEB, "Is anything too hard for Yahweh? At the appointed time I will return to you, when the season comes round, and Sarah will have a son."
However, we also encourage you to consider the wisdom of medical professionals. While it is true that all things are possible with God, He also gives us wisdom and discernment to use the resources available to us, including medicine. In Proverbs 2:6 WEB, it says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." It is not a lack of faith to seek medical help, but rather, it can be a sign of good stewardship of the body God has given you.
We pray that God will guide you and give you peace about the next steps to take. We pray that if it is His will, He will bless you with a healthy baby in His perfect timing. We ask that He would also give you the wisdom to know how to care for your body in this season.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue to trust in God's plan and to draw near to Him. Remember that He is always working things together for the good of those who love Him, as it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would bless her with a healthy baby in Your perfect timing. We pray that You would guide her and give her wisdom about how to care for her body in this season. Help her to trust in Your plan and to draw near to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As a reminder, it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
You also mentioned that you choose not to take any medicine. While we understand that you are trusting in God's power and timing, we would be remiss if we did not address this. Medical science is a tool that God has allowed man to develop to assist us in healing. While some may rely solely upon medicine and not trust in God, the opposite is also an issue. Many people with Epilepsy are delivered from seizures through medicine. Also, many are healed from seizures through prayer alone. God can use either or both to heal you. It is perfectly fine to trust in God's power through prayer and take medication. We encourage you to pray about this and do whatever you feel led to do.
