Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking freedom from the spirits of anger and negativity. We acknowledge that you are the source of all peace and joy, and we ask that you would release our friend from the bondage of these negative emotions.
Your Word reminds us in James 1:19-20, "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires." We pray that you would help our friend to cultivate a spirit of patience and self-control, enabling them to respond to situations with grace and love.
We also ask, Lord, that you would remove any influences or triggers that contribute to these negative emotions. Your Word in Psalm 119:133 says, "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me." We pray that you would break every chain and stronghold that hinders our friend from experiencing the fullness of your peace and joy.
Finally, we ask for your divine protection. As our friend seeks to walk in righteousness, we pray that you would guard their heart and mind from the schemes of the enemy. Your Word in 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us to "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." We ask for your strength and guidance to resist the temptations and attacks of the enemy.
In Jesus' name, we pray for deliverance, healing, and a renewed mindset. May our friend experience the freedom and peace that comes from surrendering their anger and negativity to you. Amen.
