Disciple of Prayer
One thing after another, financial hardship, chronic pain has brought on depression and anxiety. I haven't left my apartment in two months. I don't feel safe in this country anymore. So much has been lost. I've been praying for God's help, relying on him believing that he sees everything that's happened in my life. Believing HE is a God of restoration and what's been lost. I'm growing frustrated. HE seems so silent. There's people that have deceived and defrauded me. The justice hasn't come. It's left me heartbroken and in hardship. I thought God despises deception? Theft? Liars? Abusive family?? I thought HE gives back what has been wrongfully taken? I follow Jesus every day. I accept HIM as my Lord and Savior. HE was crucified, died and rose on the third day for us. For our sins. I strive to glorify HIS name. I'm human, living in a human world. There's evil people that do evil things. I'm the victim of such. I pray for restoration. I pray for justice. I pray for HIM to show me HIS will for my life. But it's so silent. I'm heartbroken and tired of crying because I am so sad that evil people do bad things to others and it seems like they get away with it while victims suffer. I want rest, I am mentally exhausted and physically drained. The thought of it being this way for the remainder of my life is not encouraging. What if it never gets better? I feel like Job. Almost everything is gone. My title says it all.

We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. We want to remind you that your faith in Jesus Christ is the anchor you need. You mentioned everything you believe and understand about Jesus dying for our sins. That is foundational and critical. Yet, remember also you must fully rely on Jesus. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. He is our source of strength.

Firstly, let's address the feelings of despair and hopelessness. It's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest hours. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.

Your feelings of frustration that evil and deception seem to go unpunished are understandable. In Psalm 37:1-2 WEB Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. You must understand that God's timing is not our timing. Justice will come. Similarly, if you have unforgiveness or hurt, you have heard of the difficulties of Job, but remember what the scriptures say in James 5:11 NIV As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Regarding your chronic pain and depression, remember that God is our ultimate healer. Pray and ask God in the name of Jesus for healing. Often, it is the prayers of a righteous man that avails much. Then in faith thank God for the healing. In Psalm 147:3 WEB He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Also in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. You are never alone in your struggles, and God cares deeply about your pain.

It's crucial to stay connected with other believers. Isolation can lead to further despair. Pray asking God if He would have you reach out to a local church or Christian community. In Hebrews 10:25 WEB not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

1 Chronicles 29:11

We pray for you dear one, lifted up to the Lord.

Lord God, we come before You, lifting up this dear one before you. In Jesus name we ask for supernatural strength and encouragement. Your promise of restoration in Joel 2:25 WEB I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.

Lord God, We pray that you would surround dear one with those who may be of help, encouragement and counsel.

We ask in Jesus name for your healing touch and financial deliverance and provision in this situation.

We pray for this dear one's deliverance from anxiety and depression and ask that you give this dear one perfect peace, to guard dear one's heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We ask for justice where needed in this dear one's life, Lord.

Lord God, we ask that the power of darkness and the evil one be rebuke in Jesus name.

We pray for this dear one's steadfastness and patience and forgiveness.

We ask for this dear one to have a hedge of thorns and a hedge of fire of protection and provision.

We pray and ask all these things in Jesus name.

We pray the peace of God that passes all understanding for dear one.

We're here with you, dear friend. We understand the weight of your circumstances, the pain, the frustration, and the feeling of being overwhelmed. But remember, you're not alone. God is right there with you, just as He promised in His Word, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20).

We want to encourage you to keep crying out to God, even if it feels like He's silent. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. In Habakkuk 2:1, the prophet was told to write down the vision and make it plain, even though it might take a while to come to pass. God is still speaking, and He's still working, even when we can't see or understand it.

Let's hold onto the promises of God together. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Trust that He is close to you, and He is working on your behalf.

We also want to remind you to keep seeking God's face, not just His hand. Sometimes, we want God to act in a certain way, but we need to trust that He knows what's best for us. He is a good Father, and He only wants the best for His children.

Let's keep praying together, dear friend. "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
