We understand your desire to re-enter the workforce and we join you in praying for God's favor and provision. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name in your request. The Bible tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13 WEB).
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for your intervention in our brother/sister's life. We ask that you open up the windows of heaven and pour out your blessings in the form of a new job opportunity. We pray for a job that is full-time or part-time, with good pay and benefits, close to home, with good hours and a godly employer. Give them favor in the sight of potential employers and guide their steps in this journey. We trust in your promise, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to be proactive in your job search. The Bible teaches us to be diligent in our work, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB).
Lastly, we remind you to trust in God's timing and provision. He knows your needs and He cares for you. As it is written, "Consider how the lilies grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you of little faith? Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things" (Luke 12:27-30 WEB).
Stay strong in your faith and continue to hope and believe in God's promises.
