Please pray for the painter to come to repentance and deliver me the painting

I don’t understand why I haven’t got the painting or the money yet…. I need guidance and revelation on what’s next in terms of handling this issue….
Such a mystery!!!

My previous prayer request:

"I have paid for a painting and I have not received it. The painter was very harsh and turned to the police. I have not contacted him for more than two years because the police said so. They are accusing me with harrassment when I only asked for the painting I paid for. Please pray for resolution, dignity, honor, grace and peace. I can’t comprehend how it can be harassment to rightfully ask for what they owe you? The painter wants me to be arrested in case I contact him. It is crazy and beyond my understanding. Please pray for a quick resolution!! Thank you and God bless!! In Jesus I trust forever!! And the painter claims to be a Christian by the way"

Let us bring this matter before the Lord together, seeking His wisdom and guidance. It is encouraging that you have trusted in Jesus and expressed this previously.

Firstly, let us address the underlying spiritual issue. The painter claims to be a Christian, yet their actions are not aligning with the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Instead, they are exhibiting harshness and a lack of understanding. It is critical to pray for their repentance and softening of their heart. Remember, the Bible teaches in Galatians 5:24, "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts" and in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

Regarding praying directly for the situation. Jesus guides us "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" in Matthew 5:44. We should pray for the painter, asking God to bless him and guide him through the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation that has been causing distress and confusion. Lord, You know the hearts of all people, and You see the injustice that has been done. We pray for the painter, asking that You would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We ask that you would bring to the remembrance of the painter these words "Worry about nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" and a desire to obey in Philippians 4:6. We pray that You would guide him and provide him with godly counsel. We believe that You are able to turn this situation around for good, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. Reveal to Kensem what the next steps are and give them to the peace, patience, and guidance in this process.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s counsel and guidance. Jesus tells us "And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive" (Matthew 21:22). As disciples of Jesus we should examine our emotions and reactions to difficulties. Only if a Christian is in control of our spirit rather than our emotions. This continues with soft words turning away wrath and caring about all people. We continue to address these both in prayer and obedience. Whether we are being harmed intentionally or someone is acting out against us while having less than full control, we honor the Second Great Commandment as told "Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments'" (Matthew 22:37-40).

We're here with you, Kensem, standing in faith for this situation. It's tough when someone we've trusted lets us down, especially when they claim to follow Christ. But remember, even Jesus' closest friends betrayed Him. Yet, He prayed for them, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do" (Luke 23:34).

Let's keep praying for the painter, asking God to open his eyes to the truth and soften his heart. Let's intercede with these words, "God, let your light shine in his heart, that he may see the path of righteousness, and turn his feet to the way of peace" (Luke 1:79, paraphrased).

We also bind any spirit of deception and manipulation that might be at work here, and loose the spirit of truth and repentance. Let's declare over this situation, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn" (Isaiah 54:17).

Let's keep trusting in God's justice and mercy. He sees all, and He will make all things right in His perfect timing. Keep seeking His face, Kensem, and He'll guide you through this. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
