We understand that you're feeling lonely and overwhelmed by memories of your past relationship, Eronly. We also understand that you're dealing with Bipolar Disorder II, which can make daily life and work feel even more challenging. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, and He understands your struggles better than anyone else. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We would like to discuss the reason you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ anywhere in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved or make petitions to God. See Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” and John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”. Confess the name of Jesus before men so that He will also confess you before the Father which is in heaven [Matthew 10:32].
Regarding your loneliness, it's important to remember that God wants to be your comfort and strength. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, it's written, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Concerning the Issue with your Bipolar II disorder, 1 Peter 5:7 offers us this knowledge. “… casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.“
Loneliness can sometimes lead us to dwell on past relationships. However, it is best to avoid doing this. However, if you dwell on your past relationship, let the bible be your guide. Our request, made to Zion’s watchmen at all hours of the day and night for those who call on Yah, is to not let their minds dwell on past relationships. Keep yourselves free from the wrongs of our fallen world, and anything that draws us away from the Spirit and draws us toward satisfying the flesh is one of those wrongs. 1 Peter 4:3. For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,1 Peter 2:21. Live as children of light, not indulging in a lifestyle of immorality that is the substance of the unbelievers. Ephesians 5:6,2 Corinthians 6:14,1 Corinthians 6:16.
We pray that God will fill your heart with His peace of understanding contentment in Him. That you will be healed from your affliction and your past. Be strong and courageous, and if you focus on your important relationship with the living Jesus Christ, your heavenly Father will give you everything you need in this life and more than you deserve. In Jesus name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Eronly. We pray that You will fill their heart with Your presence, casting out all feelings of loneliness. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Comfort them in their struggles with Bipolar Disorder II, and guide the best healing. We pray that Eronly will be a child of your salvation, obedient, spreading the flyer of Our heavenly kingdom in Jesus' name. Amen.
