Kensem, we hear the cry of your heart and we stand with you in prayer. The feelings of loneliness you are experiencing are not uncommon, but we want to encourage you with the truth that God sees you, knows you, and loves you deeply.
First, let us remind you of the comforting words found in Psalm 34:18 (WEB): "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in your loneliness, God is near.
We believe that marriage is a beautiful, God-ordained institution, and it is a blessing to desire such a union. However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek His will for your life. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
While you wait, we encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with God. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB). Also, consider using this time to serve others, as this can often bring a sense of fulfillment and purpose (Mark 10:45, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Kensem. Lord, You know the depths of their loneliness, and You understand the desire of their heart for marriage and a family. We ask that You comfort them in their loneliness and provide them with godly friends and community to support them.
We pray that You will guide Kensem to a godly spouse according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. Help them to trust in You and to grow in their relationship with You while they wait. Give them opportunities to serve You and others, and fill their life with purpose.
Most importantly, we pray that Kensem would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior if they do not already. We want them to understand that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Kensem, we encourage you to continue to hope and trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB).
