Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Surrender, who is struggling with feelings of loneliness and the inability to let go of a past relationship with Claude Ruan. Lord, we lift Surrender's heartache and pain to you, knowing that you are the God who heals and restores.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on you because you care for us. We ask that you comfort Surrender in this time of loneliness and grant them the strength to release the hold that Claude Ruan has on their heart. Help Surrender to understand that their worth and value are not determined by the actions or opinions of others, but by your unconditional love for them.
Lord, we pray that you would grant Surrender the wisdom and discernment to see the truth of the situation, that Claude Ruan was not kind or caring towards them in the past. Help Surrender to recognize that holding onto this relationship is hindering their ability to move forward and experience the abundant life you have planned for them.
In Philippians 3:13-14, your Word encourages us to forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead, pressing on toward the goal to win the prize for which you have called us heavenward in Christ Jesus. We ask that you empower Surrender to let go of the past, to release any bitterness or unforgiveness, and to embrace the future that you have prepared for them.
Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in Surrender's heart. Fill the void of loneliness with your presence and surround them with a community of supportive and loving people. Help Surrender to find their identity and fulfillment in you alone.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your plans for Surrender's life. May Surrender experience your peace that surpasses all understanding and find the strength to let go and move forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
