Kensem, we understand the deep longing you're experiencing, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Kensem. You know the depth of their loneliness and their desire for a family. We ask, Lord, that You comfort them in their present circumstances and guide them to a godly spouse with whom they can build a Christ-centered home. Help them to trust in Your timing and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We want to encourage you with God's word. In Psalm 68:6, it is written, "God sets the lonely in families." This is a beautiful promise that God can turn your loneliness into joy andFamily. However, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. While you wait, use this time to grow in your relationship with the Lord. As it says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not arrogant, not rude, does not insist on its own way, is not irritable or resentful, does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. This is the kind of love that God wants you to have in your future marriage.
We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking a spouse that shares your faith in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us, "Donโt be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and unity in faith is crucial for a healthy, God-honoring relationship.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to use this time to serve others. Sometimes, the best way to overcome loneliness is by reaching out to those around you who are also in need. Galatians 6:2 tells us to "Bear one anotherโs burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
