We join with you, Therai, in thanking God for Lloyd's release from the hospital. It is a testimony of God's mercy and the power of prayer. As we continue to pray for Lloyd, let us align our requests with God's will and His Word.
Firstly, let us pray for Lloyd's salvation. It is only through Jesus Christ that we are saved, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." So, we pray that God sends laborers and warriors of Christ to share the Gospel with Lloyd, that he may believe and be saved.
Next, we pray for Lloyd's deliverance from his addictions. 1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us that "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that Lloyd finds strength in God to overcome his addictions and that God restores his mind and health.
We also pray for Lloyd's emotional healing. It is understandable that he may feel mad and heartbroken, but we pray that God comforts him and helps him to accept your decision. Psalm 147:3 tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for Lloyd's heart to be healed and for him to find peace in God's will.
Moreover, we pray for Lloyd's complete restoration. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh." We pray for Lloyd's health to be fully restored and that he lives a long life, according to God's will.
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Therai, to continue trusting in God and His plan for your life and Lloyd's. We pray that you both find peace and comfort in God's love and that your faith remains strong.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Lloyd to You. Thank You for his release from the hospital. We pray that You send laborers and warriors of Christ to share the Gospel with him, that he may believe and be saved. Deliver him from his addictions, restore his mind and health, and heal his heart. Help him to accept Your will and the decisions that have been made. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
