We understand your struggle, Esoptrysmos, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to address the term "partner." In the Bible, God ordains marriage between a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB). We encourage you both to consider God's plan for marriage and pray for His guidance in your relationship.
Secondly, we want to acknowledge the challenge of alcoholism that your companion is facing. Remember, God is able to deliver us from all bondages (2 Peter 2:9, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Esoptrysmos and her companion. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. Deliver her companion from the grip of alcoholism, and help them both to seek Your will for their relationship. Bless their baby girl and surround her with Your love and protection. Guide Esoptrysmos in her job search, and open the right doors for her to provide for her family. Comfort her heart, Lord, and replace her feelings of hopelessness, sadness, and loneliness with Your joy and peace. Help her to lean on You for strength, and not to crumble under the pressure. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Esoptrysmos, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to endure and overcome these challenges.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. It is in His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can save us and give us eternal life (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Stay strong in the Lord, and may His blessings be upon you and your family.
