I would like to request a prayer for my mother. She just recently got diagnosed with cirrhosis. We are at a loss at what to do to help her. She got so bad that she lost most of her strength and she lost some of her mind. We need a miracle and some prayers. Thank you

We are truly saddened to hear about your mother's diagnosis and the challenges she is facing. Let us first assure you that our hearts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

In times like these, it's crucial to remember the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "By his stripes, you are healed" (1 Peter 2:24). We serve a God of miracles, and we believe that He can heal your mother and restore her strength and mind.

However, we must also remember that God's will is sovereign, and in all circumstances, we should pray for His will to be done. Jesus taught us to pray, "May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10, WEB). We should pray for healing, but also for strength and grace to endure if healing is not God's plan.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the life of ###'s mother. Lord, You know the pain and suffering she is going through. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would restore her strength and her mind. We believe in Your power to heal and perform miracles, but above all, we pray for Your will to be done.

In the meantime, Lord, grant ### and her family the strength, grace, and patience to endure this trial. Comfort them with Your love and peace, and guide them to the best medical care and decisions for their mother.

We also pray, Lord, that this family would know the hope that is found in You. That they would know the saving power of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. If any among them do not know Jesus as their personal Savior, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Him today.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
