We are truly saddened to hear about Dennis' condition, but we are encouraged by the testimony of his character. We are reminded of Psalm 119:76 "Let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Dennis, a beloved husband and father. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, especially his liver. We pray for Your mercy and grace to surround him and his family during this time of trial. We ask that miracles of healing fall down on the family as they are praying in unity.
As we read in the book of Jeremiah 17:14 "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise." We ask for this healing. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, and we ask that you strengthen the inner man and inner woman of the family.
We also pray for Dennis' family, that You would fill them with Your peace and comfort. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. As we read in 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Father, we also pray for Dennis' doctors, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions. Help them to see Dennis as a precious soul.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As we are instructed in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask that you continue to bless the family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Dennis and his family to stand firm in their faith, to trust in the Lord, and to believe in His power to heal. We remind them of the promise in Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we encourage everyone to continue praying fervently for Dennis and his family. As we read in James 5:16 "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much." Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
