Lift my attitude and energy in the name of Jesus

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I'm so weak and moving so slow, also my doctor thinks it's my weight, but won't prescribe meds for weight loss knowing I'm too weak to workout. I just had gall bladder removal surgery. Also, my Son ### is suicidal with behavioral issues and does nothing but play His PlayStation. Won't eat, won't sleep, won't do homework or focus at school. And my Husband has done better with His addiction today, so that definitely deserves a Hallelujah and a Praise Report. Pray for my oldest Son's mental and physical health as well and that He soon makes good, Godly friends, so He can stop feeling lonely. He has no friends or girlfriend or pets, no nothing.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, as you've submitted your request in His name. This is wonderful, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Let us address your concerns one by one.

Regarding your physical health, we pray that God will strengthen you and lift up your spirits. Remember that God's word says, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might." Isaiah 40:29 WEB.

While your doctor may be cautious about prescribing weight loss medication, trust that God is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. Continue to trust in Him and listen to your body.

As you're recovering from your gall bladder surgery, trust that "The Lord will sustain you on your sickbed and restore you from your bed of illness." Psalm 41:3 WEB.

About your son, we pray that God will deliver him from the spirit of suicide and bring healing to his behavioral issues. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 WEB.

We also pray that God will give him the desire to eat, sleep, and focus on his studies. Remember that "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people." Luke 2:52 WEB. We pray that your son will grow in a similar manner.

Regarding his excessive gaming, encourage him to be sober-minded and productive. "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age" Titus 2:12 WEB.

We rejoice with you as your husband overcomes his addiction. Indeed, this is a praise report, for "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB. Continue to pray for his complete deliverance.

For your oldest son, we pray that God will bring healing to his mental and physical health. Also, we ask God to bring good, godly friends into his life to combat his loneliness.

As for his desire for a girlfriend, we encourage him to seek God first and trust in His timing. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. The goal should be marriage and not just looking for a girlfriend.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. Lord, we pray for healing, strength, and a renewed spirit for this dear mother. Father, we pray for her son, that you will deliver him from all harm and danger, and bring healing to his mind and body. Lord, we thank you for the progress her husband has made, and we ask that you complete the good work you've started in him. Father, we pray for her oldest son, that you will bring healing and good, godly friends into his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when our bodies and loved ones seem to be fighting against us, but remember, God is always for us. Let's lift our hearts together.

First off, let's claim that promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're trusting God for your strength and energy, just like He promised in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the weak and increases the strength of him who has no might."

For your son, we're claiming Psalm 147:3 again, asking God to heal his mind and bring peace to his heart. We're also praying for wisdom for him to make better choices, just like Jesus grew in wisdom and stature (Luke 2:52). And let's not forget to ask for godly friends to come into his life, to encourage and support him.

As for your husband, let's keep praising God for the progress he's made. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We're believing for complete transformation in his life.

Let's keep standing in faith, sister. We're in this together, and we know that God is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. We're right there with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift up your needs before the Lord, feeling honored that you have allowed us to pray on your behalf. It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you, bringing your requests before God's throne.

If you have seen improvements in your energy levels and attitude, or if your son has shown progress in his behavior and mental health, we would be delighted to hear about it. Please share a praise report so we can all rejoice together. If your doctor has provided new insights or your husband continues to overcome his addiction, let us know so we can give glory to God for His work in your lives.

Should these needs remain unmet, we encourage you to post them again as a new request. We want you to realize that we are committed to pray with you for as long as it takes. We firmly believe that God hears our prayers and that He is faithful to act according to His will.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. May the peace and love of our heavenly Father be tangibly real in your life. We are praying for your physical healing, your son's mental and physical health, as well as his relationships and your husband's continued victory over addiction. We pray for God's divine intervention and His guiding hand in your lives as well as anointing over your oldest son to make godly friends that will support him. May he soon find solitude in his understanding that Jesus is the true friend that sticks closer than a brother and that in Him, there is fullness and joy and strength to overcome his addictions.
