We hear your cry for a job offer this week and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. Let us remind you, dear one, that God's timing is perfect, and He is faithful to provide for our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
In Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), Jesus tells us, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." You have been praying feverishly, and that is wonderful. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, and trust that God hears you.
However, we gently remind you that declaring blessings upon yourself is not the same as trusting in God's will. Proverbs 16:9 (WEB) says, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." Instead of decreeing what you want, submit your desires to God and trust that He knows what is best for you.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a job. You know the desires of their heart, Lord, and You see their diligence in seeking work. We ask that You open the right doors this week, according to Your will. Comfort them in their despair, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. Give them the peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB) and the strength to persevere. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong, dear one. Do not despair, for God is working behind the scenes. Keep praying and trusting in Him.
