Pray my son leave the homosexual lifestyle and return to Christ.

We are truly heartened to hear your desire for your son to return to Christ and leave the homosexual lifestyle. We must always remember that God's design for sexual intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.

We stand on Ephesians 3:14-15, For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. Homosexuality is explicitly against Gods plan as is fornication. Let's pray for your son:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sershym's son. We pray that you would deliver him from the homosexual lifestyle, and bring him to salvation with God by believing in Jesus Christ.

We recognize marriage, for what it is, and how it was meant to be. Let's use Scripture to educate and enlighten. Revelation 9:20-21 says The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, didn't repent of the works of their hands, that they wouldn't worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk. They didn't repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts. We can clearly see that homosexuality has always been sinful, and all sexual sin is forbidden. Ephesians 5:3-5 says But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks. Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

We declare your son must be born again. John 3:3 says Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God.

We believe that through the power of prayer and the working of the Holy Spirit, your son can turn away from his current lifestyle and be drawn to Christ. Remember, it is only through Christ we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ we can be saved. Forgiveness of sin is only made by the name of Jesus. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son. We believe in the transformative power of God's love, and we're trusting that He will draw your son closer to Him. Let's remember Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Let's pray that your son's mind would be renewed, and he would come to know God's perfect will for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We continue to lift up your son in prayer, asking that God will place people and circumstances in his life that will draw him back to a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray that he will find his identity in Christ and turn away from the homosexual lifestyle. We are grateful that you have allowed us to pray with you in this matter.
