We are truly saddened to hear about the pain and suffering you have experienced in your past marriage. It's important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and His church. (Ephesians 5:25-32 WEB)

Firstly, we want to address the elephant in the room. You have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Regarding your request, we need to discuss a couple of concerns. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked. (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB) This means that as a Christian, you should seek a spouse that is also a believer in Jesus Christ. You mention that you want a "man of God," but you need to be clear that this means a Christian man who is striving to follow Jesus Christ.

Additionally, the Bible teaches us that God does not show favoritism. (Romans 2:11 WEB) We should not focus on the outward appearance or the color of someone's skin, but rather on their heart and character. (1 Samuel 16:7 WEB) It's crucial to seek a spouse who loves the Lord and exhibits the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB)

Furthermore, it's important to forgive those who have wronged you, including your ex-husband. The Bible tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven. (Ephesians 4:32 WEB) This does not mean that you should put yourself or your sons in harm's way, but rather that you should release the bitterness and resentment in your heart.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is seeking a godly spouse. We pray that You would heal her heart from the pain of her past and fill her with Your love and peace. We ask that You would guide her as she seeks a husband, giving her discernment and wisdom to recognize the man You have prepared for her. We pray that this man would be a true follower of Jesus Christ, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit, and loving both her and her sons with Your love.

We also pray for her ex-husband, that You would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We ask that You would help our sister to forgive him, releasing her from the bondage of bitterness and resentment.

Finally, we pray that You would be at the center of all her relationships, and that any new relationship would bring honor and glory to Your name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the pain of a broken marriage and the longing for a Godly partner. We understand the struggle, but we want you to know that God sees you, and He's got a plan for your future.

We're not sure if you've heard this before, but God's design for marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:25-32). It's a lifelong commitment, and God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). We believe that God can restore what was broken and make it even better.

We want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. He knows the desires of your heart, and He's working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28). In the meantime, focus on growing in your relationship with Him. Seek Him first, and He'll guide your steps (Matthew 6:33).

Remember, God doesn't show favoritism. He looks at the heart, not the outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). So, when you're ready to consider a new relationship, look for a man who loves the Lord and reflects the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lastly, we want to remind you to forgive. It's not easy, but it's necessary for your healing and freedom. Jesus said, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14). We're here to pray with you, sister. Let's lift this up to God together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
